The Sunland Park Senior Center successfully hosted its summer celebration today at the Multi-Generational Building, drawing local seniors together for a day of activities and community connection.
The event, which ran from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 4700 McNutt Rd, provided area residents with an opportunity to socialize and engage in seasonal recreation.
Participants spent the day participating in indoor and outdoor activities, including canvas painting, table games, and socializing with neighbors. The gathering served as a key opportunity for area seniors to stay connected and active. Organizers noted high turnout and positive feedback from the attendees, who utilized the space to share meals and participate in the scheduled programming.
The summer party is part of an ongoing effort by the City of Sunland Park to offer consistent, health-focused social activities for its older population. Regular operations for the senior center continue to run out of the Multi-Generational Building, offering ongoing services including daily meals, recreational workshops, and transportation assistance.
