SERVICES
The City Clerk’s Office provides a variety of services, listed below. You may also contact us at 575-589-7565, ext. 1031. City Clerk staff members are available to assist residents from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
City Council
Maintains official council records, drafts meeting agendas, records meeting minutes, and publishes public notices for all regular and special meetings.
Boards and Commissions
Coordinates advisory board appointments, tracks member terms, and manages administrative meeting records for city boards.
District Maps
Provides current municipal district boundary maps to help residents identify their voting districts and elected city representatives.
Elections
Processes open records requests under the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act (IPRA) and provides access to official city documents.
Port of Entry
Serves as a liaison for municipal records and administrative communications related to the Santa Teresa Port of Entry.

Notice of Potential Quorum
Members of the Sunland Park City Council, constituting a potential quorum, may participate in a scheduled site visit to the Camino Real Environmental Center on Wednesday, October 14, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This site visit is not a public meeting under the Open Meetings Act. No policy will be formulated, and no action will be taken.
Notice of Intent to Adopt an Ordinance
The City Council intends to adopt an ordinance approving a zone change from C-2 (General Commercial) to R-2 (Residential District) for properties R1911431 and R1719622 at 5:30 PM, City Hall Council Chambers. A copy of the ordinance is available for inspection at the City Clerk's Office, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
