SUNLAND PARK, NM — Following a successful inaugural launch in March, the City of Sunland Park is preparing for the second installment of the Gateway to New Mexico Cultural Market this Saturday, April 18, 2026. The community event will once again transform Elena Park into a hub for local commerce and entertainment from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The debut market in March drew residents from across the Sunland Park, El Paso, and Las Cruces region. Families enjoyed live music at the gazebo, explored local artisan booths, and supported regional small businesses. Highlights from last month included a diverse range of handcrafted goods, from custom floral arrangements to specialized arts and crafts.
Sunland Park’s “Gateway to New Mexico” Market at Elena Park is designed for the complete family experience. The market naturally integrates with the park’s existing trails, making it easy to bring your dog along for the outing. From the gazebo music to the pet-friendly walking paths, it’s an environment where every member of the household can enjoy the fresh air and local culture.
