Small businesses, solar providers, county and city administrators, nonprofits and farmers are encouraged to participate in our free grant writing workshops to learn about the Rural Energy for

America Program (REAP) and the Rural Business Development Grant (RBDG) program. The workshops will teach potential applicants, of all skill levels, how to prepare and apply, the grant application process and tips to improve the score.

REAP – Provides grant funding and guaranteed loan financing to agricultural producers and rural
small businesses for renewable energy systems or to make energy efficiency improvements.


RBDG – A competitive grant designed to support targeted technical assistance, training and other
activities leading to the development or expansion of small and emerging private businesses in rural
areas.
