Families and Neighbors Invited to Sunland Park’s First 4th of July Celebration

The City of Sunland Park will host its First Annual 4th of July Celebration at the Sunland Park Sports Complex on July 4, 2026, bringing neighbors together for a day of family activities, live music, and fireworks.

The celebration focuses on community connection and local families. Park gates open early at 1:30 PM, allowing residents to arrive ahead of time, set up lawn chairs, and secure spots on the grass. Main event attractions, vendors, and entertainment will run from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The afternoon schedule includes a dedicated Family Fun Zone with interactive entertainment and water activities to help children stay cool, alongside live musical performances and local food trucks. Attendees can also visit the city booth to pick up a free giveaway coupon, with specific gift categories available for both adults and children while supplies last.

The event concludes with a community fireworks display starting at 9:30 PM.

Admission to the celebration is free. The Sunland Park Sports Complex is located at 4700 McNutt Road. Due to the high expected turnout, carpooling is highly recommended for all residents.
