The City of Sunland Park has appointed Kiri Daines to serve as the new Chief of Police. Chief Daines is a career public servant with over 20 years of experience in regional law enforcement and municipal administration.

Chief Kiri Daines is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in the Paso del Norte region. She previously served as the Deputy Chief of Police for the Las Cruces Police Department, where she managed large-scale operations, personnel, and municipal budgeting.

Upon assuming her role, Chief Daines will implement a 30-60-90-day plan to evaluate departmental operations and community needs. The City will provide updates on these developments as they progress.
