The City of Sunland Park will host a collaborative Back-to-School community event on July 24 at the Sunland Park Sports Complex, located at 4700 McNutt Road in Santa Teresa. The event will run from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, offering area students free essential school supplies and resources to prepare for the upcoming academic year.
As part of the city’s commitment to community support, the initiative brings together regional partners to help families reduce the financial strain of seasonal school preparation. Representatives will be on-site to distribute backpacks, notebooks, and pencils, as well as share critical family resource information.
The event is organized in coordination with several community sponsors and regional partners, including the Cri-Cri Learning Center, Smile Center for Kids, Agencias de Intervención, Raising Cane’s, and Exa FM. Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to families and children in attendance.
Residents and families from across the area are encouraged to come out, participate, and kick off the new school year together with their neighbors. The event is completely free and open to all community members.
