The Sunland Park Community Library is launching a new Gamers Club for Kids this summer to foster connection, cooperation, and skill-building among local youth. Supported by the City of Sunland Park, this free weekly program is designed for young community members ages six and up. The initiative represents a deliberate effort by the library to meet residents where they are, using modern gaming to build strong social skills in a safe, structured, and supervised space.

The library provides all necessary equipment, including Nintendo Switch consoles and controllers, meaning no personal devices are necessary to participate. This removes financial barriers and ensures every child has an equal opportunity to join.
