The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) is continuing scheduled maintenance and infrastructure repairs at the intersection of Futurity Drive and Trifecta Drive.
Contractors are currently on-site managing the initial phases of the repair work. Once this current stage is finalized, operations are scheduled to transition to the next phase of the project area early next week. Utility teams are currently coordinating the necessary equipment adjustments to keep the workflow moving forward safely.
To maintain a safe environment for both the public and the utility crews, the intersection of Futurity Drive and Trifecta Drive remains closed to all traffic. Motorists traveling through the area must continue to use Appaloosa Drive as the primary detour route.
The intersection is anticipated to remain closed through late next week. The City of Sunland Park will issue a formal notification to residents as soon as the project is finished and the roadway is safely reopened to regular traffic.
