Community Event: Día del Niño 2026, Carnival of Dreams

The City of Sunland Park is pleased to share information regarding the upcoming Día del Niño 2026: Carnival of Dreams. This two-day regional event is organized by the Full Circle Advocacy Group and a coalition of early childhood partners to connect our families directly with essential services and future opportunities for their children.

The “Carnival of Dreams” is designed to serve as a bridge for residents to access a wide network of support. Families are invited to participate in this regional event starting on April 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 516 McCombs in Chaparral, NM. The celebration continues the following day, April 26, 2026, during the same hours at the Sunland Park Sports Complex located at 4700 McNutt Rd.

At the heart of the event is the Community Resource Village. This gathering brings together experts in early childhood education, special education advocacy, and healthcare, including behavioral health and therapy services. Beyond education and health, families can connect with representatives regarding housing and rental assistance, legal advocacy, and nutrition programs. Local farmers will also be on-site offering tastings of locally grown foods.

Local agencies and service providers who wish to support our residents are invited to join the event as Resource Partners at no cost. This is a unique opportunity for organizations to engage directly with families in both Sunland Park and Chaparral while strengthening our regional support system. Interested agencies must contact the event organizers by March 10, 2026, to coordinate booth details and logistics.

The City of Sunland Park is sharing this information for community awareness only. This event is organized and hosted by the Full Circle Advocacy Group and its regional partners.
