The City of Sunland Park proudly recognizes Sergeant Armando Duran of the Sunland Park Police Department for successfully completing the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Instructor Course—an important milestone that strengthens the Department’s commitment to youth engagement and community education.
The D.A.R.E. Instructor Course is an intensive 80-hour program that demands a high level of discipline, focus, and professionalism. Through this rigorous training, Sgt. Duran developed advanced instructional skills and gained comprehensive knowledge in evidence-based prevention strategies designed to help young people make safe, responsible decisions.
