January 29, 2024. A communication error has occurred in the water system causing a water

tank that distributes water to the Sunland Park area to drop to a low level. Some areas in

Sunland Park may experience discolored water momentarily until the water tank resumes to

normal levels. The water tank communication error has thus been resolved; it is advised for

residents to flush their sinks for 10 minutes if experiencing discolored water. The discoloration

should not last longer than 24 hours if discoloration occurs call CRRUA Administrative Office

575-589-1075.
