Project Name: Riverside Drive Phase 1 Roadway Improvements Project

Sealed bid proposal on forms prepared by Wilson and Company, Inc., E&A (hereinafter called Consultant) will be received by City of Sunland Park, Purchasing Department Attn: Claudia Carrillo, (hereinafter called “City” and “Owner”), at the City of Sunland Park, Administrative Offices, 1000 McNutt Rd, Suite “G”, Sunland Park, NM 88063, until 10:00 AM (local time) on February 8, 2024 and will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter. Bids received after this time will not be eligible and will not be opened.

Riverside Drive Phase 1 Roadway Improvements project will include reconstruction of existing roadway typical, including ADA accessible drivepads, wheelchair ramps, storm drainage, waterline replacement and sewer manholes rehabilitation. All existing street signs will be replaced where the retro – reflectivity is less than desirable as defined by the MUTCD.

Contractor to note that:

  1. Notice of Award on 2/21/2024.
  2. Pre-construction Meeting on 2/28/2024.
  3. Notice to Proceed on 3/4/2024.

Bidder Requirements:

A.       Bidders must possess appropriate and current contracting license at the time of bid open as regulated by Construction Industries Division, 2550 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe, NM  87505, Phone: (505) 476-4700.

B.       Resident/Veterans bidder’s preference are eligible.

Non-Mandatory Pre- Bid Conference:

A non-mandatory Pre-bid conference will be held at the City of Sunland Park New Mexico at 1000 McNutt Rd, Sunland Park, New Mexico 88063 at 10:00 AM (local time) on January 30, 2024.

How to obtain Bid Documents:

Electronic Portable Document Format (pdf) bidding documents may be viewed or downloaded via Consultant’s online Plan Room at https://www.wilsoncoplanroom.com/ at no charge. Contractors, Subcontractors, suppliers, etc. must register or log-in to view and/or download bidding documents. Businesses without Internet access may obtain these documents, upon request at the office of the Consultant, 3801B Constitution, Suite 300, El Paso, Texas 79922 (915-298-8505). Hard copies of the bidding documents and specifications require a $150.00 refundable deposit, payable to Wilson & Company, Inc. The deposit will be refunded provided the bid documents are returned to the Consultant in good condition, unmarked or un-written, within ten (10) Calendar days after the bid opening date. 

Each proposal shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements defined within the contract documents and project manual.

The City of Sunland Park, New Mexico reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal.
