SUNLAND PARK :
Tucked underneath the stunning Mt. Cristo Rey and next to the expansive Rio Grande, Sunland Park is a picturesque place, taking visitors back in time to experience the Old West. Even iconic country western star, Marty Robins, could not resist adding Sunland Park's landmark mountain in one of his songs; referring to the, "Badlands of New Mexico", as he describes the cowboy overlooking "Rosa's Cantina", a restaurant-bar in old El Paso many toursits still visit today. 

The City of Sunland Park is rated one of the safest cities in the state of New Mexico. With a growing population of nearly 20,000, it is the fastest growing and largest border city that serves as a gateway to the Land of Enchantment.  

City's Incorporation:
The City's incorporation became effective on July 15th. The city is only 35 years old, but it's history predates the city's incorporation back to the 1880s.

The City's population is 16,544 & Growing (per U.S. Census Bureau latest estimate - 2016)
